Thanos "Defunkt" Papathanasiou is a professional drummer from Greece, based in Larissa City.
Since 2006, by playing the drums for several bands and artists, his music horizon became wider on genres from greek alternative to funk-rock, rock, funk-metal, reggae, manouche jazz and swing.
In addition to these affiliations, some great work has been recorded and produced.
During the past years, he signed an endorsement contract with Bosphorus Cymbals, one of the greatest cymbal companies.
Nowdays, he's working with his promising band "Grottesco" on new content and preparing for the summer period gigs.
